Computational resources

The GREiA research group has specialized personnel in the field of artificial intelligence, since in many cases the research and development of the experimental activity of the group requires computational resources:

  • Control mechanisms are a key issue for performance in energy systems
    – When energy systems become complex, traditional control is no longer suitable
    – Artificial Intelligence tools such as reinforcement learning and deep learning probe to be good alternative
  • Clustering optimization to enhance computing performance on energy systems
    – Common optimization tools (e+, Trnsys, GenOpt,…) put at work in cluster environments
    – Development of own models for parallel processing
  • Sentiment analysis on Social Networks
    – Getting opinion from twitter threats

The GREiA Research Group at University of Lleida works on the fields
of Thermal energy storage, building energy efficiency, artificial intelligence
and energy usage optimization.
