MATCE: Methodology for the analysis of thermal energy storage technologies towards a circular economy [RTI2018-093849-B-C31]

The main objective of this project was to develop and validate a methodology to evaluate and improve the sustainability of energy technologies integrating thermal energy storage in order to come closer to a circular economy and to apply this methodology with different case studies for industry and building applications.

The main obtained result of this project was to develop a methodology that ensures that the deployment of thermal energy storage technologies (TES) is carried out following the criteria of the circular economy. Different case of the use of TES was studied and the technology was validated.

This project (RTI2018-093849-B-C31) is funded by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades (MCIU), Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI) and Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional (FEDER)
